The blog is over two years old now and has 25 Followers which is great to see (although more would be welcome!). As I write this there have been over 23,000 page-views of 122 posts published so far, with the most-viewed seen over 200 times.
I am going to continue with this blog as a chart of my progress of my Anima Tactics project to paint at least one of every mini in the range, but It would be great to see more Followers and especially more comments. With regard to comments, it is a way to let me know what kind of content visitors to the blog would like to see.
Anyway, thanks to all of you who have stopped by, and if you have ever thought of commenting, please go right ahead!

Hello, I've only recently found your blog and have enjoying reading through the backlog of posts. Thank you for taking the time to do it. I've attempted a blog and failed miserably. Evidently I have the same enthusiasm for blogging as I do painting, which is little to none. On the subject of painting how do you motivate yourself? I find it a real struggle to sit down and paint, which is a shame as when I do I am quite capable.
ReplyDeleteAs for future content, could you do a painting guide for flesh? I've always found it difficult to produce reasonable flesh tones on my models and yours look really good. This impacts the games I play and armies I choose to collect, always going for power armour, mechanical or beastly armies. Now I've picked up Anima Tactics I can't hide from my inability anymore.
Thanks again.
Hi Chris. Thanks for commenting, and thanks for the kind words.
DeleteOn the motivation front, after enthusiasm wears off, then a few things keep me going:
1. Blogging new minis;
2. Painting something 'easy' when I have felt momentum going;
3. Trying to get some games in;
4. Tracking my progress (the bit at the bottom of each post is very detailed in progress, but helps remind me I need to paint more, so is really for my own benefit - by making it public it spurs me on).
I will do a little thing on my flesh tones at some point now you have asked. Promise! :)
Leon.

ReplyDeleteThanks Bloodthorn. :)
DeleteRecently saw your blog searching for info on AT. I did roleplay on the RPG game and didnt like it so much but the minis are awesome and wanted to try painting them and my friend who likes Anima a lot said we should try so I've started lurking a bit to know more about the game. Also its nice to see fellow miniature and wargames bloggers.
ReplyDeleteKeep it on man!
Thanks Karlos.
DeleteIt think it is a great game and a great line of minis, and that is why I am so determined to paint them all. :)
